is based on the interrelationship between the uniqueness of the client’s
ideas & dreams and the intuitive feeling of the experienced &
educated designer…culminating into an aesthetically functioning
space. Simply put it’s a feeling I get when I encounter a space.
Cher Schuck, CKD CBD CAPS & ASID
As President and Principal Designer, Cher is experienced with more
than 16 years in the field and is formally educated in many disciplines.
Her education includes an Associates Degree of Applied Science in
Interior Design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative
Design from the University of Colorado.
Through the certification programs offered by the NKBA (National Kitchen
& Bath Association) she has several appellations they sponsor:
CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) and CBD (Certified Bath Designer).
In 2009, after holding these appellations for 10 years and being published
in various magazines she will qualify for her CMKBD (Certified Master
Kitchen & Bath Designer).
Along with the above certifications, Cher holds the CAPS designation
(Certified Aging in Place Specialist) from the NAHB (National Association
of Home Builders).
NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification), license
# 023282 which allows her to practice Residential & Commercial
Design across the United States.
Involvement in professional affiliations is important because as a
design firm it is best to be a part of the solution as issues arise
in this industry as well as being informed on cutting edge trends
and product development that will effect our future in design. Cher
is Immediate Past President of the NKBA Rocky Mountain Chapter in
Denver. In 2007, she was nominated as Chapter Representative and will
remain on the Board for the next three years. She is also a member
of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers); the Broomfield Chamber;
and the BBB (Better Business Bureau).
